Pinarayi Vijayan files cyber-defamation suit (Asianet India)
Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday,
November 17, 2009: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has moved a criminal
complaint against an unidentified source on charges of “cyber-defamation”. The
comrade alleged that an anonymous mailer is circulating e-mails, which contains
maligning images, sent from fake IDs to the public at large. The complaint was
handed over to DGP, who then forwarded it to Cyber cell. Pinarayi Vijayan in his
complaint has that the e-mails are “distinctly, intimidating, humiliating and
defamatory in nature and generated with the sole aim of maligning the reputation
all over India and the world”. Based on the complaint, the Cyber Cell has
initiated an investigation.
ആദ്യത്തെ ഇമെയില്‍ ഫോര്‍വേഡ് ചെയ്തവരൊക്കെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ പേടിച്ചു വിറച്ചു രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഇമെയില്‍ അയച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു .
മുന്‍പ് പലപ്പോഴും ഇത് പോലത്തെ ഇമെയില്‍ ഫോര്‍വേഡ് ചെയ്തു കിട്ടുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ വിചാരിക്കാറുണ്ട്, ഒരു ഇമെയില്‍ ഫോര്‍വേഡ് ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ അത് സത്യമാണോ എന്ന് അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടത് അത് അയക്കുന്നവരുടെ ബാധ്യത ആണ്. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ആ പണിക്കു പോകരുത് .
അപ്പോഴൊക്കെ ഞാന്‍ ആലോചിക്കുമായിരുന്നു ഈ ഫോര്‍വേഡ് രോഗികളെ ആരങ്ങിലും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്‌താല്‍ നന്നായിരുന്നു എന്ന്. ഒടുവില്‍ CPI (M) State Secretary തന്നെ അതിനു വേണ്ടി വന്നു.
