Honda Activa Booking Period - The most wanted two wheeler in India

Maruti Suzuki advertises its popular sedan Maruti Suzuki Dzire as the most wanted car in India. This is true to some extent because it is the car (mass produced) which has the longest booking period in India ie, 4-5 months. One have to book atleast four months before to purchase this car.

If Maruti Suzuki Dzire is India's most wanted car then which is India's most wanted two wheeler?

It is a gearless scooter - Yes the Honda Activa. The redesigned honda activa now has a booking time of 5 months to 1 year in some parts of Kerala. My enquiry to purchase an Activa immediately was ruined by the lenghty booking time every showroom has to offer. The Activa has 120 days minimum booking time in Trivandrum, Cochin and Thrissur where as it is more than 150 days in other parts of Kerala.



Hope Honda Twowheelers comes up with some measures to increase production, otherwise it will benefit Suzuki and Hero with its models Access and Pleasure.
