Reached Kuttipuram Railway station. Two ticket counters, joined a relatively small queue
The long queue is moving forward, mine held up because the official has gone to announce the arrival of my train
Indian Railway has only a single queue for both the sexes. Some ladies are unaware of it. The ticket man too forgets it
9:30 am
The train arrives. Full of passengers, no seat. Stands. The facial expression of every standing individual looks the same
The newspaper man arrives, seems Madhyamam is the only paper available at Malappuram
9:45 am
Tirur. Two TTRs arrive. The boy near me fools a TTR by telling his ticket has been checked by the other one. 2 people who dont know any tricks gets caught
The TTRs is the only class of employees in the Indian Railways who dont need to wear an uniform. Do you know why? Guess it

The train has been halted somewhere b4 Parpangdi for abt 20 min
Aftr a long wait a goods train passes by.
The men sitting near me are music maestros. They have created a vocal music against the background of the train. Tik Tok Tik Tok "Hoy". . .Tik Tok Tik Tok "Hoy".
An old man without wearing a shirt arrives, shows his protruded stomach and tells an elephant has pierced his stomach two years ago and he needs money for treatment. Some gives him. I moves away from him due to the suffocating smell of liqour he emits.

Reaches Parpanangadi. The train is already late by 35 min. Still standing. Next station Calicut.
If the train has travelled in right time I would have got a seat by now.(Present Future Perfect Participle)
"Tujhe Dekha to" A small girl, may be aged below 12 arrives and starts singing. She uses two tile pieces to create background score for her song. Towards the end of the song the sound of coins replaces the sound of tiles. Today is Nov 14. Childrens Day of India. I didnt give her any coins to create more bgms

Train reaches Calicut 75 min late. I grabbed a seat before the hand kerchieves, newspapers and bags occupy them

Reaches Vadagara, Another girl comes around and starts singing. This time she doesnt get a penny.
Two blind people, six disabled people, vendors including the orangeman, the cashewnut man, the 'pen' man, season ticket cover man etc have passed.

The Ernakulam-Kannur Intercity, which is regarded as the fastest day train in Noth Kerala train reaches Thalassery 80 minutes late after the scheduled time
Gets out into the platform.

Twittering is as good as reading a magazine, or hearing music, or sitting idle in the train.
